When we left Juan's we headed over to all the beautiful Ithaca gorges. Buttermilk Falls first, where we got split up. A helpful ranger told us about a campground with a few open spaces, so the family left Mama behind to go set up emergency camp before we ran out of campgrounds. Then on to the Ithaca Farmer's Market, where we briefly met up with Nick. Although the market seemed full and crowded to use, Nick told us that the market was not particularly well attended, since the grassroots festival was going on a few towns over.
Then out to Treman Falls, which was under construction and not very impressive. There was however great diving. At the end of our very long hike, Ed and Robin found us, and took Centa to Shakespeare in the Park, and then joined us at Pinecreek campground.
We were in high spirits despite some drizzle.
Happy Morning to Ed and Robin, despite the car not starting, and our general chaos getting organized in the morning. Robin recommended our next stop. Watkins Glenn, so we headed off in that direction.
