Juan's Yurt!

Having lots of extra days, and nowhere specific to go, we settled on Ithaca: A ... wait for it ... gorges place.

At the last minute, we got permission from Juan, through Nick, to stay around his yurt.

We thought we would meet up first with Uncle Ed in Ithaca at Shakespeare in the Park, but we missed him, after stopping to buy a new inverter for our van, and ending up setting up our tents just as it was getting dark.

It was a lovely backdrop for our tents, at the top of a road that our van barely made it up. The forest was serene, and we played classical versions of classic oldies (like Hey Jude, and Scarborough Faire) inside the enormous 9 person tent that Puk brought when she dropped off Mary.

We had yogurt in the morning, and collaborated on a limmerick for Juan. It went something like:

There was a great fella named Juan,
Whose place was invaded while gone,
    They surrounded his yurt
    And slept in the dirt
And had yogurt and coffee at dawn.
