Brian and I are out though, and we just left, after conference, wedding, and lots of awesome times with friends old and new.
I might never have left Portland without that cup of coffee that arrived crazy early from Joel, when I was still in my sleeping bag (Brian is an early riser, and had already packed up most of our sleeping stuff, and was waiting for me to get into the car)
And I want to say that I hate, have always hated and probably, though no guarantee, will always hate crocs,
but they have been my trusty footwear for the past few weeks, and will be for the next month or so. They let me in to places that would never allow me to show up barefoot.

A foraged purslane sandwich and a french novel. Best lunch ever.
Start of the Mirror lake hike: A quaint one person bridge, unless you are two very small people.
It wasn't even cold! (he said)
Last night we made a lovely fire, just from sticks the kids found while Brian went for a "short" (8 mile) run to some hot springs...

I love your photographs Irma, and you. The picture of Theo in the skirt-blanket is wonderful, as well as the capture of a particularly photogenic purslane sandwich. <3
Thanks! My first comment! :) <3
Awwww, shucks. I didn't realize how helpful that coffee was. Glad you had a good time in Oregon!
