Some things we saw in London. People, and the Tate (my favorite part of London)
I made quite a bit of my own art at the Tate. Here are 6 black and white images that I really liked that came from my few hour stay at the tate.
Escalator.
Trees carved from 10x10s, rising high to the Tate's dropped ceiling.
Letters on the floor, video in the background of artist throwing the letters around. There was a rope cordoning off the area with the letters on the ground, but someone had put their hand in to write "SHAME ON YOU" ... Theo did some illicit writing too, only his said "THEO" and "LALALALA"
Art from the side produces more art.
A 15 foot door needs a lot of hinges.
These two people were there when we got here. On the way out, they were still there, so I took their picture. I hope they didn't mind.
Only picture of Big Ben - but we were there!
Obsessed with sky trails.
On our way to crepe making, we discover that the Northern Line is DIRTY! Not just his hands, his head, his shirt, his pants, everywhere.
I'm guessing just from holding the railing or the wall on the stairs down to the train.
Me making crepes. Or more like "crepes" ... weird whole-wheat flour, VERY hot cast iron pan, and .....
.... VERY good company, thanks to Leanne and her girls. They were good! Just not ... crepe-ey
And right before we left for Manchester, and right after she got here, we met Tira and her boyfriend (now, already, *husband*!) Patrick. They were lovely!
